Achieve Key Separations and Avoid Misidentification with the New Rxi-SVOCms GC Column
Though Indeno[123-cd]pyrene (IcdP) and Dibenz[ah]anthracene (DahA) have different nominal masses because DahA exhibits a strong signal at the same m/z ratio of IcdP, coelution of the peaks can be a problem. This can lead to calibration bias, mischaracterization of sample toxicity, or even a misidentification of the DahA signal. Read how our scientists achieved full separation of these critical PAHs.

Unlock the Mysteries of Mixing CRMs and Learn Best Practices in our Latest Webinar
Mixing reference materials together can be complicated due to possible undesirable analyte interactions leading to inaccurate analytical results or failed calibrations. Join us to learn best practices for opening, mixing, and storing your CRMs to help keep them stable and ensure reliable calibrations.

Expanding Your Routine Hemp & Cannabis Analysis to Include Flavonoid Testing
Flavonoids are a crucial component in the complex synergistic interaction of cannabis and hemp bioactive compounds that leads to their unique aroma, flavor, and therapeutic effects. Though routine cannabis potency testing typically only includes phytocannabinoids and terpenes, antioxidant-rich flavonoids are becoming more popular in cannabis testing laboratories. Here, we develop a workflow for the analysis of 19 flavonoids in hemp flower by LC-MS/MS analysis with a run time of only 7 minutes.

Cut 5 Minutes off Your Run Time for Semivolatiles Analysis without Compromising Critical Separations
Using our EZGC method translator and the new Rxi-SVOCms column, we were able to optimize the method parameters from a 30 m to a 20 m column to run the analysis in 70% of the time while maintaining the same elution profile and separation. Read how the modeler’s acquisition parameters held up under real testing conditions using a higher ramp rate.

Preventing PFAS Contamination: An Effective Resin Cleaning Procedure
In part four of this ongoing blog series, we discuss some of the challenges of keeping a PFAS-free workflow. Read about the benefits of using Ultra-Clean resin to help prevent PFAS contamination and explore a developed resin cleaning procedure using the Dionex ASE 350 system.
